Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.004 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.039 in. It is designed for continuous to general cutting operations. The insert is suitable for machining ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) primarily, with secondary capability in M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). Its negative rake and strong edge make it ideal for medium to rough turning and facing, especially on steel and titanium alloys, but it is not intended for precision finishing or profiling.
