Designed for heavy-duty isolation, the GE TJJ436Y400 is a 400A, 3-pole molded case switch rated for 480VAC. As a non-automatic disconnect, it lacks thermal overload protection but utilizes a high instantaneous withstand to open safely during short circuits. The bolt-on switch installs into GE A-Series panelboards, Spectra switchboards, and motor control centers. Featuring a 30kAIC rating and reverse-feed capability, it can be replaced by a Tmax XT5 switch via a retrofit kit.
