Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds from 0.004 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is suitable for general to interrupted cutting operations within these parameters. The insert is designed for ISO material groups P30-P35 (steel) as the primary application and M20-M30 (stainless steel) as secondary. It also accommodates K30 (cast iron) and S15-S25 (HRSA/titanium). Its positive rake and chipbreaker geometry optimize performance in these materials but limit heavy interrupted cuts.
