Cutting speeds range from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.006 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. This insert excels in continuous cutting operations with light finishing cuts due to its positive rake and fine radius design. It is not suitable for interrupted cutting or rough conditions. This insert is optimized for ISO group N materials, primarily non-ferrous metals. It is ideal for precision finishing of aluminum, copper alloys, and other ductile non-ferrous materials where minimizing heat and cutting forces is critical. Stable, continuous cuts ensure the best performance and surface finish.
