Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 410 to 771 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.014 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.079 in. These parameters enable efficient general cutting operations within the recommended range. It is designed primarily for ISO P20-P25 steel materials, excelling in medium to rough turning and facing applications. Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it highly suitable for interrupted cuts and heavy machining conditions, but it is not intended for precision finishing or profiling tasks.
