Applications

Cutting speeds range from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds from 0.005 to 0.018 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.217 in. This insert supports continuous to general cutting with a maximum depth of cut of 0.217 in. It is designed primarily for machining ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) and M10-M20 (Stainless steel), with secondary suitability for H05-H10 (Hardened steel). The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it ideal for medium to rough turning and facing, especially in steel and stainless applications, but not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
