Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.018 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.138 in. It is designed for medium to low-speed roughing with general to interrupted cutting applications. The 1/32″ nose radius balances surface finish and edge strength for versatile production use. It is optimized for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) and M25-M35 (stainless steel). Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it highly suitable for interrupted cuts and roughing operations, but it is not intended for precision finishing or profiling tasks.
