Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.016 and 0.039 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.591 inches. It is designed for medium to low-speed roughing with the capability to handle interrupted cutting conditions effectively. It is suitable primarily for ISO P25-P35 steels and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steels. The negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it ideal for general to interrupted cutting applications, especially in roughing scenarios where edge strength and durability are critical.
