Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.009 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for medium to low-speed roughing with general to interrupted cutting conditions. It is suitable for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) as the primary range and M25-M35 (stainless steel) as secondary. The negative rake and chipbreaker design make it ideal for interrupted cuts and roughing operations on steel and stainless steel, but it is not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
