Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.012 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.315 in. It is designed for medium to low-speed roughing with general to interrupted cutting conditions. It is suitable primarily for ISO P25-P35 steel and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steel. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and durability, making it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts but not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
