Applications

This CCMT insert supports cutting speeds from 525 to 984 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.004 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. These parameters enable efficient general cutting operations with good control over chip load and cutting forces. The positive rake design favors finishing and semi-finishing tasks within these ranges. It is optimized for ISO P20-P25 steel materials, providing excellent performance in continuous general cutting conditions. Due to its positive rake and geometry, it is not suitable for heavy interrupted cuts but excels in stable machining environments requiring fine surface finishes and moderate edge strength.
