Unlike standard 5mA GFCIs, this unit prevents nuisance tripping on machinery with higher natural leakage currents. It mounts into Eaton Type BR load centers using a plug-on connection and pigtail neutral. Rated for 10 kAIC at 120/240V, it provides reliable overload and equipment-level ground fault defense. This specific model is replaced by the newer BRN230EP.
