Applications

Cutting speeds range from 361 to 755 sfm with feed rates between 0.007 and 0.018 in/rev. Depths of cut extend up to 0.197 in, supporting medium to heavy cuts. This insert excels in general to interrupted cutting conditions. It is designed primarily for ISO P30-P35 steels and secondarily for M20-M30 stainless steels, K30 cast irons, and S15-S25 HRSA/titanium alloys. Its negative rake and robust edge strength make it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts but less suitable for fine finishing or profiling operations.
