This insert supports cutting speeds from 82 to 525 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.002 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for interrupted cutting and roughing operations, handling medium to heavy cuts effectively. The 3/64″ nose radius balances edge strength with moderate feed capability. Ideal for ISO material groups P35-P45 (Steel) as primary and M30-M40 (Stainless steel), K30-K35 (Cast iron), and S25-S35 (HRSA/Titanium) as secondary. Its negative rake and robust chipbreaker make it well-suited for roughing and interrupted cuts but not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
