Applications

Cutting speeds range from 115 to 656 sfm with feeds between 0.004 and 0.012 in/rev and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. These parameters support continuous to general cutting operations with moderate feeds and depths. The insert excels in semi-finishing to medium machining roles, leveraging its positive rake and 55° diamond shape for profiling and contouring tasks. This insert is suitable primarily for ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) and secondarily for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). It is designed for continuous cutting conditions and is not recommended for interrupted cuts or rough turning, especially in materials with scale or inclusions.
