Features

    HSS construction for improved wear life during continuous threading operations.

    Round die with chamfers on both faces; one side provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for threading, the opposite side provides a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    Fine pitch adjustment screw to force the die halves apart or allow them to spring together for precise start and depth of cut.

    Beveled slot enables adjustment when used in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed and adjustments made by the holder’s screws.

    Left-hand threading capability supports production of reverse-turn components without changing tooling.
