Applications

Cutting speeds range from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.004 to 0.013 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. This insert is designed for general to interrupted cutting at medium to low speeds, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.118 in. It is suitable for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) as the primary range and M25-M35 (stainless steel) as secondary. The positive rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape support finishing to light semi-finishing operations but are not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing.
