Applications

This CNMG432-GR NC3030 insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.008 and 0.020 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.276 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting and medium-low speed roughing operations. It is suitable for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) primarily, and M25-M35 (stainless steel) secondarily. The negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts, but it is not intended for fine finishing or profiling applications.
