Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.157 in. It is designed for continuous cutting operations. It is optimized for ISO material group N (non-ferrous metals). The positive rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it ideal for finishing and light semi-finishing cuts, but it is not suitable for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing.
