6-inch Long Reduced Shank Silver & Deming Drills for High-Performance Applications. TTC presents its 3/4 inch reduced shank Silver & Deming Drills for most heavy-duty applications. The unique 3-inch long spiral flute design improves chip ejection and coolant flow to the point. 118 self-centering split point prevents walking and provides aggressive cuts. All drill bits offered in this series are surface treated and appear to have a black oxide coating. The coating reduces friction and offers higher feed rates. The lower helix angle of 30 can wrap slowly and is used in drilling hard materials including brass. Silver & Deming drills from TTC Production are offered in over 20 different sizes from 25/32 inch to 1-3/8 inches.
