Applications

This CNMG432-B25 PC5300 insert supports cutting speeds from 98 to 574 sfm, feeds from 0.009 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for general cutting and excels in medium to rough turning and facing operations. It is suitable for ISO groups P30-P40 (steel) as the primary material and M20-M30 (stainless steel) as secondary, with additional capability on K20-K25 (cast iron) and S15-S25 (HRSA/Titanium). Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust edge make it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts but not for precision finishing or profiling.
